    Harvard researchers found that women who take 400mcg. daily of folic acid and 1.3 mg of vitamin B6 daily also have a lower risk of breast cancer.

    Folic acid supplementation has also been shown to be very beneficial to women going to be or who are pregnant

    Its also some debate/non-conclusive reserach on B9 (folic acid), that it helps soften coronary artery walls and thus reducing risks of bloodclots/stroke.

    So just eat strawberries, they are rich in folic acid

    interesting. out of curiosity, why are there so rarely studies about breast cancer in men?

    This is a good question. Maybe because it is found in woman more than men, but still you think there would be more studies about breast cancer in men.

    Well it is very rare in men, thats one thing. Another thing is that treatment with substances like tamoxifen citrate, has shown to yield promising results, in conjunction with cemotherapy etc.

    yeah - that's typically the case with women too. i just have that whole thing where the bias bugs me
