Easily, no. Quickly, yes. All protein is is some amino acids all stuck together. Make sense?

Personally, I think people dwell a little too hard on pre/post workout nutrition. Although important, I don't really feel it's worth all the drama some of the other boards put it through.

I would buy a powder with BCAA`s (branched chain amino acids) and good whey. Optimum nutrition 100% whey is the best one. You get all the essantials and more

So its partially true, in one way. I still wouldnt bother with all the mambo jambo tho, you`ll need the whey! And you`ll need a good diet rich in proteins, good carbs and so on.

    Good luck B)

It would be quicker. If you take a protein supplement those proteins have to be broken down into amino acids.

Post workout your body is going to use about anything you put in there, assuming its properly timed. I wouldnt worry about it too much.

Oh, but sir...as long as there is a supplement to market for the occasion, it will be popular topic.

Still, I have defined my pre-workout parameters elsewhere (beyond the scope of this thread).

    Hey, how you been Nate?

What would you say if I told you that the peptides (bonds that connect individual aminos) is important for absorption?

a good mix i take is Xtend and EAA. I use to drink Xtend mixed in with Whey protein but like the Xtend / EAA mix better, i drink this during my workout. I too am not a big pre/post hype person, i like getting it during my workout.

Nice mix of both would be nice i think, but i donīt see it that dramatically, all that pre/post thingys! Sure, good supplementation is necessary, but after your train your body will soak up everything like a sponge, so give him protein and good fast carbs, and then it should be nice

I like Purple Wrath amino drink during workout, also has extra goodies besides aminos. Great bang for buck. Post workout 2 scoop protein shake with good old fashioned oats with honey.
