Mono is best absorbed through the stomach. Try taking on an empty stomach and chasing with some simple carbs if need be.
The volumization of creatine is not hydroscopicity, but rather as more and more aminos get stored in the sarcoplasm, water is needed to maintain fluidity (otherwise it will oversaturate, form solids, and your muscle will be proper f***ed).
As a pure creatine supplement, look no further than mono.
Size on, Green Mag, the AX creation (actual name pending), and I think MAN makes a pretty solid one (Clout?) are all creatine-based products, however there is WAY MORE to them than "just" creatine.
