Default Mass FX w/ ECA stack

    Share |
Hi! New to the forum, but been reading over the threads for a few days now. Looks like alot of good info on here. I pull evenings and nights at 2 hospitals 5 days, usually 75-80hrs a week. Anyway, I've been doing a generic ECA stack for quiet a few years now to keep the energy levels up and not get sleepy while at work....1 Bronchaid w 25mg ephedra, 1 325mg aspirin once per night at the beginning of my second shift, and 4 cups of coffee in the first 2 hours after and up to 2 more cups of coffee the remaining 6 hours. Not concerned with ephedra or that stack in general, I work in the hospital lab, so I routinely check my chems. I read that Mass FX can be taken with other stimulants such as your SX product because it is not a stimulant. My question is can I incorporate Mass FX on a daily basis with my generic ECA stack or should I drop the ephedra while I'm taking Mass FX? How about stacking with Mass FX, Hard FX, and the TST Powercell? Currently just working out once a week, trying to get 2 in a week when I can. Thanks!

I don't see any issues in taking MassFX while taking your ECA stack.

Your blood pressure will increase further, from the MassFX. Increases in testosterone usually come with increases in blood volume... which usually leads to an increase in BP.

I can't help but honestly thinking that taking the whole lot (mass fx, hard fx, tst) is over the top if your struggling to get into the gym 2 times a week, with little frequency I wouldn't imagine you would see much from these products. If your just trying to loose weight then one of them with ECA is good but I wouldn't go over the top.

I can't say for what the OP is doing, but you'd be surprised how little stimulus is needed to produce results.

I've been doing the ECA stack for so long that is basically my normal tolerance level. The coffee by itself doesn't do anything. I can yawn and be groggy for several hours while I am drinking a pot of it, and from what everybody tells me, I make it strong. Ephedra by itself, I don't even notice anything. All 3 together, I tend to wake up and get through my 80hrs at work. With commute time and getting ready, on work days, I'm doing 4-5 hours of sleep, and not by choice, other than quitting a job, which is out for the next few years.

Not trying to lose weight or look like Mr. Olympia. Just trying to build up strength. My work schedule has tore me up to the point where I had no energy left on my days off, I pretty much slept them away. That had to stop. So went to my parents to get my old weight set from 18 yrs ago(lucky they didn't rust) and bought a power rack so I don't need a spotter.

When I go to the gym, my cage/rack in the garage, I'm doing a modified Hardcore Full Body Blitz from BB database, but I've been going over the Get Fricken Huge as well. I'm working strictly strongest range of motion (4-8 inch movement) and increasing weight with each rep. Warm up with pushups, chinups, lunges, and pullups. 1-5 rep/single set of Deadlift w Shrugs, Flat Bench Press w 5 second hold, Squat, Military Press, Upright Row, Barbell Curl, Bent Arm Pullover(no increase weight-takes too long). Added Lat Pulldowns wide grip and close grip with a lean-back row, Cable Situps, Cable Crunches, Wrist Rollers, and Ivanko Gripper.

For Christmas I bought myself a basic Leg Press machine that holds 600lbs and been doing leg press w/ calf press 1 leg at a time so I can get a pseudo 1200lb limit out of it. I'm not close to being there yet, so that's good. Purchased 2 sets TNT(triple handle holds 3 cables) Resistance bands from Lifeline USA, 6 Black 100lb cables, 1 Orange 50lb, 1 Magenta 40lb, 1 Pink 30lb, 1 Purple 20lb, and 1 teal 10lb. Hooked them to different spots on my cage/rack, so I can basically do anything that the Body by Jake Tower 200 can do, but got up to 600lbs(1-250lb variable or 300lbfrom each set) of total resistance for less $$$ than their product. Definitely not a substitute for weights, but it takes care of the cardio when I get in for my 2nd day. And my wife could theoretically use them too, if she could figure out what they were.

Played Soccer for 15 years, swimteam for 10yrs, Cross Country Running for 6 yrs, through high school and college, and amateur boxing for 2yrs during college but that was over 14 years ago. So I'm still in my first 3 months of getting back into doing something more than watching football, boxing or MMA on the big screen.

    I'm 5'6, 153lbs, was 158-160, haven't measured bodyfat, but I haven't lifted for 6 years. Started 8 weeks ago, with bench, squat, and leg press using same weight. Started with 155lb warmup, 1st week, moved from 180-205, 2nd moved from 190-215, 3rd 200-245, 4th 225-265, 5th 245-275, 6th 265-285, 7th 275-295, and last night 275-300lb. All these are strictly strongest range 5 rep 1 set.

Any exercises that I'm missing or should be doing as a core instead or anything I can cut out due to duplication? I know I can't isolate or do variations, so I'm just trying to get basics, plus a few more. I don't have my rack set up for major compound movements like a Power Clean, plus I can't push that kinda weight around anyway. Any suggestions or advice in changing up exercises would be appreciated!

Basically my last post was me questioning other people on this board if using the whole stack of supps would be worth the money when training only 1 or 2 times a week. I was just wondering if you would be gettin the most out of the products, for example when training 1 or 2 times a week in comparrison with most users who train 3,4 or 5 days a week.

You have got basically all of the compound exercises in their except for powercleans as you mentioned which is great, these are really all you need and i cant really think of any more at this moment in time.

Don't quite understand the logic of strongest range of motion, e.g. alot of people bench press half-way down to satisfy their ego's as you can use alot more weight than if you touch your chest. What they don't realise is that they should be training their chest yet their hardly working it at all as their only using the "strongest range of motion". I think you would benefit more from using full range of motion. Another point is that if not touching your chest each rep will vary in the distance the bar travels as you just have to guess, some guy once said to me "I come down to about 1 inch away from my chest" from where I was standing it looked more like 5.

Gonna start with Mass FX by itself, let it do its thing for the entire 8 weeks. The following cycle will do the combined Mass FX, Hard FX, and TST to compare.
